Incredible vintage vest from Theo.  Black basic back panel, with puckered "granny squares" in a multitude of bright colors and unique patterns on the front.  There is a tie closure on lower/mid front, so pairing with a basic shirt underneath and almost any type of bottoms you choose will look stylish and pulled together.  The tie is not meant to adjust size of vest, but to keep it stylishly closed while worn and not flopping open in the wind or from the weight of the vest.  In my opinion, this would look absolutely stunning with all black underneath!!!
Vest is 100% rayon and will make a wonderful vest during fall, winter and spring and the early/late cooler summer days.
Measurements, as follows:
18.5 inches armpit to armpit
28 inches from top/center shoulder to lowest point on front hemline
23.5 inches from top/center shoulder to back hemline
13.5 inches across top/back, shoulder to shoulder
Tie closures each measure 12 inches in length.
