Stunning vintage black wool Kashmiri full length 3 season coat hand embroidered in pink , turquoise and white flowers
I believe it’s from the seventies and has a bohemian/ Edwardian look . It belonged to a gorgeous woman who worked for a rock and roll radio station and I can just imagine the concerts and receptions she attended in this making a glamorous dramatic entrance and exit .
Condition is excellent for its age . It has belt loops and probably had a sash but it has buttons and is very tailored so looks fine without it . I found 2 tiny bites one under the collar with a layer behind it so it doesn’t show and one next to the shoulder seam which could easily be invisibly repaired with one stitch . You have to really look to find them . It’s a tiny bit dusty so though clean it could maybe use a light cleaning to freshen it up .
