Vintage 1970’s Gerard Turquoise Peyote Bird Coat with Sterling Silver Buttons

Beautiful Vintage 1970's Gerard "Chimayo" Native American Style Peyote Bird Jacket. The jacket is Turquoise with colorful “Water Birds” accented in pink, black, white, red, royal blue, baby blue and green designs on the front, back and sleeves. It is super stylish with a Black Velvet Collar, Cuffs and Bottom Trim and beautiful stamped Sterling Silver buttons that grace the front of the jacket and wrists (7 buttons total). Original tag says Medium but it runs pretty big. Lots of room! The length is shorter like a motorcycle jacket. Talk about a gorgeous contrast with the Turquoise/Black colors and Cotton/Velvet fabric textures! Looks beautiful with a black cowl neck sweater under it.

Condition: Very good Pre-Owned condition. The person that owned it definitely loved to wear it. It had some coffee stains on one of the arms and the back of the coat. I just paid to have it professionally dry cleaned and they also did a pre-spot cleaning on it prior to the dry cleaning. Most of the stains came out but you can still see a little area on the bottom back (left side), shown in the last picture. To me it doesn't show that much since it is at the bottom of one of the pleats/folds in the back. It has what I call “lint balling” which could possibly be removed with a “defuzzer". I don’t have a lint remover and didn’t try it but some of it came out with the dry cleaning.
This is a heavy coat and due to the size and weight, it must be shipped in a large flat rate Priority Box, hence the shipping price.
