    Rare Find Vintage NWT CRYSTAL Handwovens Jacket Wearable Art Boutique Sz M. What an exciting rare find, this one is a beauty and definitely a head turner! Vintage with tag in beautiful condition. So many different mediums of fabrics, yarns, buttons, beading and ribbons. This is an open jacket, fully lined in white with padded shoulders. Please inspect photos to your satisfaction as to condition and ask any questions prior to purchase.
    Here is a little bit of the history that I was able to come across regarding this gorgeous wearable art piece: Textile artist Crystal Alman sought out the most beautiful textiles for her one of a kind handwoven creations in the early 1990s. She had these jackets woven and created in Columbia and would market them to high end boutiques. Each of these selected establishments would carry only 1 or 2 pieces as Crystal handloomed created each piece and often added embellishments of other tapestry and art into the fabric. She then priced and prepared them as a wearable art piece. She stopped designing in the mid 90s, so these pieces are usually only found through auctions and estates.
    A good majority of my listings are vintage or gently used, normal wear should be expected. Some items may be New In Box (NIB) however the box/packaging may not be in new condition.
