Up for sale is an absolutely perfect vintage crystal three-sectioned relish bowl in the “Century” pattern by Fostoria! Fostoria started making their Century pattern in 1950, and it’s an extremely popular and collectible pattern. The pattern is most easily recognized by the wavy border, and it was used for several of Fostoria's most popular etched patterns (Heather, Camillia and Bouquet are a few). This beautiful relish bowl is separated into three sections by diagonal glass dividers, and it has fancy scrolled handles on either side. It stands on a polished ground rim, and it's in outstanding condition! It’s nearly immaculate – there are no chips, cracks, flakes, fleabites, nicks or roughness anywhere, and the glass is nice and shiny – no stains, utensil scratches, or oxidation. There are a few odd scuffs here and there (perhaps from stacking), but they can really only be seen when the bowl is held up to the light for very close inspection. It’s oval in shape – it measures 11 3/8 inches long by 8¾ inches wide. It’s absolutely guaranteed to be vintage – not reproduction or new glass. The Century pattern can be seen in Gene Florence’s “Collectible Glassware of the 1940s, 50s & 60s”.
