HUGE Fully Sequined 3D Shawl/Wrap Costume/Lady Gaga/Hollywood Star/Festival

I just don't know where to start with this unbelievable piece! I bought for myself in a minute of post vaccination celebration (a bit out of my head to say the least as it was quite expensive). As I have said before I have a streak of tackiness and this rang all the bells. One of my vintage dealers had gotten it from a woman in New York who said it was a custom made piece, she thought for a drag queen.
Very conceivable as it is just too over the top for words.
Handmade in the late 90s. I could see Elton John in this as well as Lady Gaga or Liza back in the day.  The pix do absolutely nothing for this as the sequins were impossible to capture and ended up looking blurry due to reflection. They are those large ones about the size of a dime in different colors and different finishes; believe they are called paillettes. They were handsewn on both sides of a fine black netting material and it is a whopping 29" wide and 110" long! Very versatile and you can do a lot with it. Almost like a cape or jacket. And of course you could certainly repurpose if you wanted as it is so large.  I absolutely love it but have to say I don't know where I would wear as don't go to that many dress up affairs. So finally decided to sell at a price that would recoup my money and force me to pass on. It is heavy and the last  couple of pix show how dense it as totally sequined on both sides; almost like 3D. This is something that really belongs in a show, concert, movie, burlesque or drag queen show or other fancy event as have never seen anything like it. Needless to say whoever wears this will be the talk of the town! In very good condition given that not that old. I kind of don't care if I sell or not as I just love looking at it and have hanging on a wall.
