DOMINICAN REPUBLIC January 6, 1953 Issue, Special Miniature Sheet of the 1953 Columbus, Lighthouse and Flags of 21 Republics Issue in Serial Numbered Folder, mint never hinged. This item is not the smaller (190 mm x 130 mm) perforated souvenir sheet, Scott #68a, but is larger (200 mm x 163 mm) and is imperforate with simulated printed perforations as issued. See note after Scott #68a.
Again, this item is not Dominican Republic Scott #C86a, as that is a smaller version (190x130 mm) of the larger special miniature sheet issue offered here (200x163 mm). The difference is explained in Scott's notes after #C86a. The first to the next to the last scans are of the larger sheet and souvenir folder offered here, while the last scan is of a smaller #C86a. Not only is the size difference noticeable, but you can see other differences between the two. Also, the regular Scott #C86a was not issued in a special serial numbered folder like here. All scans, except the last one, are pictures of the actual item the winning bidder will receive.
