S&S Hardcase for Coupler Bikes
This is an older style case, made by S&S Machine in the USA. The age mainly shows from the hardware, the shells themselves seem to be the same as the cases that are still sold currently.
It came with a bike I bought, and I don't have a need for it. It seems to be used for travel but not heavily. I gave it a thorough cleaning and replaced a few rusty bolts, I guess it could look more modern with updated handles but these work totally fine.
* 26in x 26in x 10in = the maximum luggage size for most airlines. You won't pay oversize baggage fees
* The previous owner marked "R" on right hand side. I guess it helped with packing or unpacking
* Two wheels on short end. They roll fine but there's a little rust. Should not be difficult to replace
* Spring loaded pull handle on opposite short end. Flips out to pull the case and pops back when let go
* Lockable latches on top, with one key included. I recommend using a TSA padlock instead, though.
* One set of padlock eyelets, should be sufficient to keep it closed. Little surface rust on it
* Two compression members included
* Will ship in a perfectly sized box
