    Badlands is the original lighting module company, designed and manufactured right here in the USA. Their lighting modules have been installed on motorcycles all over the world since 1990! The company was born in a small motorcycle shop in Reno Nevada when founder, Rick Eckhardt came up with a really good idea, the Load Equalizer. That was only the beginning and in the years that followed, the company evolved like the products they produced. In 2006, it was time for a change and Badlands was sold to Dan Lewis as he had the technical and managerial background the company needed. It wasn't long, in fact only ten-months later, Dan's experience gave Badlands the opportunity to purchase Maximum Products, the designer of the RUN/BRAKE/TURN signal module. Now Badlands holds the patents, the products and foundation of a successful company.
